I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the area which must be 100 times better. The location was perfect, very near to everywhere, especially Oxford Street and Marble Arc. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, with fresh bedding and towels provided. The hotel facilities were great, with amenities such as a TV, hairdryer, and kettle in the room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage and use the restroom after check-out. The breakfast was also a highlight, offering a decent selection of scrambled eggs and toast.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel late in the evening and were upgraded to a spacious and well-equipped superior room. The complimentary secure parking right next to our room was convenient and gave us peace of mind. The hotel staff were friendly and provided us with valuable information about Rome. We also found the 3-day excursion ticket we bought from reception to be excellent value, as it covered various modes of transportation. The hotel even offered free transportation to and from the train station upon request. The breakfast provided was top-notch and the free Wi-Fi connection was reliable. The size of the rooms was exceptional and allowed for plenty of natural light and fresh air. Despite some reviews mentioning cleanliness issues, we found the hotel to be normally clean. The location of the hotel, although not close to downtown, provided an authentic experience living among locals. we had a delightful stay at Castle Hotel and would highly recommend it as a base to explore Rome.
While the hotel was clean, it did not meet the exceptional standards mentioned in other reviews. Additionally, the hotel's interior design could benefit from a modern touch.
